Gentle Notes

About This Piece

This piece was painted in memory of Sushi, a tiny girl with an immense presence.

Where I Learned To Hold You lives in the quiet space where love changes shape but never leaves. A gentle figure stands among blooming flowers, holding close the kind of bond that never needed words. It is a reflection of trust, understanding, and the quiet comfort of being deeply known.

About Sushi

There was something about the way Sushi existed in the world. A calm intelligence. A beautiful stillness. Sushi was independent, certain of herself, almost human in her awareness. She didn’t follow , she chose.

When Sushi left me, the grief cracked something open that never closed again. I miss her every moment of every day.
