Gentle Notes

About This Piece

I created A New Chapter during a season when everything felt unsettled. Change was happening all at once, and grief moved quietly beneath it . Not always loud, but constant. The open book became a promise I was trying to believe in. 

From its pages rise lotus stems, wings, and a small nest holding robin eggs, long seen as symbols of renewal and new beginnings. I painted them as reassurance that even when life feels fractured, something tender may already be forming. The nest speaks to protection in the midst of upheaval. The butterflies to transformation that often feels uncomfortable before it feels beautiful.

This piece is about trusting that the next chapter can be gentler than the one you’re living through, even when the current page feels heavy and unfinished.

Oversized Giclée Prints
Most Mini Snail Arts prints are offered in carefully selected standard sizes and produced in my own studio.. If you're interested in displaying a piece as a larger statement artwork, oversized giclée prints may be available by special request.
These larger prints are professionally produced using archival materials and museum-quality printing processes through a trusted local fine art print studio. Availability may vary depending on the artwork and desired size.

What Is Giclée Printing?
Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a fine art printing process used by artists, galleries, and collectors around the world. Unlike mass-produced posters, giclée prints are created using archival pigment inks and fine art papers chosen for their exceptional colour accuracy, richness, and longevity.

Each Mini Snail Arts print is personally produced in my studio with great care and attention to detail. This process preserves the depth, texture, and subtle nuances of the original artwork in a way that standard commercial printing simply cannot.

When properly cared for, archival giclée prints can be enjoyed for generations, making them a meaningful addition to a collection and a lasting way to celebrate the stories that matter most.

Production & Packaging:
Every piece is personally produced, inspected, and packaged in my studio in Quebec, Canada.

Your artwork is carefully prepared for its journey, and opening your new treasure is intended to feel more like an experience than simply opening a package.

All original artworks are carefully packaged and shipped from my studio in Canada. Each piece is one of a kind, and I take great care in preparing it for its journey to you.

Free standard shipping is available to Canada and the United States. (Express shipping is also available at checkout).

Original artwork ships worldwide. For destinations outside Canada and the United States, delivery times may vary depending on location, customs processing, and local carriers.

Orders for original artwork are typically prepared for shipment within 2-3 business days. A tracking link will be sent as soon as your artwork ships so you can follow its path to you.

Please note that customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply for international orders and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Original artworks are hand-made and carry the quiet marks of human hands. Small variations, textures, or imperfections are part of their story, and part of what makes each piece uniquely yours.

Prints:

Each piece is carefully produced, inspected, and packaged in my studio in Quebec, Canada.

Standard Edition and Gallery Edition prints are typically ready to ship within 2–3 business days.

Collector’s Editions (if offered) are individually hand embellished and require additional production time. Please allow 7–10 business days before shipment.

Free standard shipping is available to Canada and the United States. (Express shipping is also available at checkout).

International shipping is available worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on destination and customs processing, if applicable.

Once your artwork is on its way, you will receive tracking information so you can follow its journey home. If you have a special deadline or require expedited shipping, please contact me before placing your order and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

Returns

Original:

All original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces, created by hand and shipped with care from my studio in Canada. Because of their unique and irreplaceable nature, returns or exchanges are not accepted once an artwork has been delivered.

If your artwork arrives damaged during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and the artwork itself. All original artworks are shipped with insurance, which helps cover damage that may occur during shipping, and I will guide you through the next steps if a claim is needed.

Original artworks may show natural variations in texture, surface, or detail. These are not flaws, but part of the character of a hand-made piece and part of what makes each work uniquely its own.

I understand that purchasing original art is a meaningful decision. If you have questions before purchasing, I encourage you to reach out so I can help you feel confident and informed. If a concern arises after delivery, you’re welcome to contact me — I read every message personally and will always respond with care and honesty.

Prints:

Because all giclée prints are made-to-order individually and created specifically for you, returns and exchanges cannot be accepted unless your order arrives damaged or there is an error in production.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the artwork, packaging, and any visible damage so that I can assess the issue and work with you to find a solution.
